About Mama On The Run

Mama On The Run Founder, Andrea Moak, first started blogging as a way to hold herself accountable when training for her first half-marathon after the birth of her son. The experience snowballed and Andrea fell in love with the community of other mothers also struggling to find balance between taking care of themselves and the little ones in their life, and thus Mama On The Run was born.

Andrea is a graduate of Florida State University with a BS in Media Studies and Creative Writing and an MA in Corporate & Public Communication. She  is an ACE certified personal trainer with specialized training for pre and post partum women. She owns and operates Baby Boot Camp franchise located in Florida’s Emerald Coast. She also teaches marketing, communication, and business courses for several universities online.

However, the MOST important role that Andrea has is mommy to two adorable children, Finn and Stella. It is their entrance into her life that enabled her to have the courage to leave the high-paced corporate world and mold and design a career that focused on being a work-from-home mom.

  1. Andrea,

I’m a reporter with the Northwest Florida Daily News and now the content provider for http://www.EmeraldCoast.com. Right now I’m looking for area bloggers who would be interested in contributing to the site in a blog.

If you are interested, please call me at 315-4432. I’m the early-morning reporter, so you can catch me between 6 and 2.

    Thanks,
    Angel
